Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any application developed by Nova Soft Labs ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our apps.
These terms apply to all Nova Soft Labs apps, including our remote control apps (such as Samsung Remote, LG Remote, Chromecast Remote, Roku Remote, Fire TV Remote, and Universal Remote), QR Code, PayShare, Arrow Escape, and any other current or future apps we publish on Google Play.
Age Requirement: Our apps are intended for users aged 13 and older. By using our apps, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child under 13 has used our apps, please contact us at support@novasoftlabs.com.
Your use of our apps is also subject to our Privacy Policy and, where you make purchases, our Subscription Policy. Some apps display advertisements powered by Google AdMob and offer purchases processed through Google Play, which are subject to Google's own terms.
Our Apps
Nova Soft Labs develops utility, productivity, and game apps for Android. Our apps are free to download. Some features are supported by in-app advertising, and some apps offer optional premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions.
We work to keep our apps reliable, but features may change over time, and some features depend on your device, operating system, network, or third-party devices and services.
App-Specific Terms
Remote Control Apps
- Remote apps let you control compatible smart TVs and streaming devices over your local Wi-Fi network. Your phone and TV usually need to be on the same network.
- We do not guarantee compatibility with every TV model, brand, or firmware version. Manufacturers may change their systems at any time, which can affect how our apps work.
- Our remote apps are independent products and are not official apps of any TV or device manufacturer.
QR Code
- QR Code scans and creates QR codes and barcodes. We do not control the content inside codes created by other people.
- Scanned codes may contain links to websites or other content. Please check a link before opening it. We are not responsible for the content, safety, or practices of any website or content reached through a scanned code.
- You are responsible for the content of QR codes you create and share, and you must not use the app to create codes that link to illegal, harmful, or misleading content.
PayShare
- PayShare requires an account. You can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You must give accurate information and keep your password secure, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
- PayShare is a calculation tool that helps you track shared expenses and see who owes what. It does not send, receive, hold, or transfer money, and it is not a bank, payment service, or financial advisor.
- Any payments between people are made outside the app and are solely between those people. We are not a party to any agreement or debt between users.
- Information you add to a group, including your name and expenses, is visible to the other members of that group. Only add people who agree to be part of the group, and do not add false or abusive entries.
- You are responsible for checking that the amounts you enter are correct. Results are based only on the information entered by group members.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or through our Delete Account page. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms or are used to harass other people.
Arrow Escape
- Arrow Escape is a puzzle game for entertainment. Game progress is stored on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Any in-game items, hints, or rewards have no real-world money value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Optional rewarded ads may offer in-game rewards. Rewards are given only after the ad is completed and may depend on ad availability.
License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.
This license does not allow you to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our apps
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where the law allows it
- Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app to others
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any advertising or in-app purchase functionality
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our apps to:
- Control or access any device without the owner's permission
- Create or share QR codes that link to malware, scams, illegal content, or misleading websites
- Interfere with or disrupt any network, server, or device
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to obtain in-game rewards or premium features
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
Advertising
Some of our apps display advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising platform operated by Google LLC. Advertising allows us to offer free versions of our apps.
By using our apps, you acknowledge that:
- Advertisements may appear as banners, full-screen ads, or optional rewarded ads
- Google AdMob may use your advertising ID and device information to serve ads, including personalized ads where permitted and where you have given any required consent
- Ad content is selected by Google AdMob, and we do not control which specific ads are shown
- You may opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID) or through the app's privacy options where available
- Clicking an ad may take you to third-party websites or apps — we are not responsible for their content or practices

In-App Purchases
Some apps offer optional one-time purchases or recurring subscriptions, processed securely through Google Play. All purchases are also subject to Google Play's terms and policies.
- Prices are shown in your local currency on the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm
- All transactions are processed by Google Play — we do not collect or store your payment information
- Some subscriptions may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Google Play account settings
- Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy
- A purchase unlocks the features described in the app at the time of purchase, for that specific app only
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality in our apps — including code, graphics, logos, icons, game levels, and interface design — are owned by Nova Soft Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content you create in our apps (such as your QR codes or expense records) remains yours. For PayShare, you allow us to store your content and show it to the members of the groups you share it with, only as needed to run the app.
Third-party trademarks referenced in our apps — including Samsung®, LG®, Chromecast® (Google LLC), Roku®, Amazon Fire TV®, Sony®, Philips®, and other device or platform brands — are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Nova Soft Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any of these companies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, our apps are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
- Compatibility with any specific device, TV, or firmware version
- Accuracy of calculations based on information you enter, or the safety of content reached through scanned codes
- Suitability, accuracy, or quality of any advertisements displayed within the app
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. If we permanently remove a paid feature you have purchased, we will try to provide a reasonable alternative, and your rights under Google Play's refund policy and applicable consumer law are not affected.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nova Soft Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our apps.
This includes damages arising from:
- Inability to connect to or control a device
- Websites, content, or files accessed through scanned QR codes or advertisements
- Errors in amounts entered by users, or disputes between people about shared expenses
- Loss of locally stored data, such as game progress or QR code history
- Content added by other members of a PayShare group
- Unauthorized purchases made on your device
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (or $5 USD if you have not made any purchases). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Third-Party Services
Our apps may use or integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Not every app uses every service.
- Google AdMob — In-app advertising
- Google Play & Google Play Billing — App distribution, billing, and in-app purchases
- Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In & Firebase database — Account sign-in and cloud data storage (PayShare)
- Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting and app stability
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Usage analytics
- Google ML Kit — On-device code scanning (QR Code app)
- Device communication protocols — Used by remote apps to communicate with compatible TVs and devices
We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of third-party services.
Termination
We may suspend or end your access to our apps if you seriously breach these Terms or use our apps in a way that is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may stop using our apps at any time by uninstalling them. For PayShare, uninstalling does not delete your account — use the Delete account option. Uninstalling also does not cancel subscriptions — please cancel through Google Play. Active subscriptions continue until the end of the paid billing period and then do not renew.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue in effect.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also notify users through an in-app notice.
Your continued use of our apps after any changes means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute should first be raised with us at support@novasoftlabs.com so we can try to resolve it informally in good faith.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before the competent courts of Lahore, Pakistan, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring it in your local courts.
