Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any application developed by Nova Soft Labs ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our apps.
These terms apply to all Nova Soft Labs applications including, but not limited to, Samsung Remote, LG Remote, Chromecast Remote, Roku Remote, Fire TV Remote, and any other current or future apps we publish on Google Play or other platforms.
Age Requirement: Our apps are intended for users aged 13 and older. By using our apps, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you must not use our apps. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child under 13 has used our apps, please contact us at support@novasoftlabs.com immediately.
By using our apps, you also acknowledge that our apps display advertisements powered by Google AdMob and may offer in-app purchases processed through Google Play, both of which are subject to their respective terms and policies in addition to these Terms.
App Description
Nova Soft Labs develops remote control applications that allow users to control compatible smart TVs, streaming devices, and home entertainment systems from their mobile device over a local Wi-Fi network.
Our apps are utility tools. They require a compatible device and a local network connection to function. We do not guarantee compatibility with all device models or firmware versions.
Some features of our apps are available for free and supported by in-app advertising. Additional premium features may be unlocked through in-app purchases or subscriptions.
License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.
This license does not allow you to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our apps
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app to others
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any advertising or in-app purchase functionality
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our apps to:
- Control or access any device without the owner's permission
- Interfere with or disrupt any network, server, or device
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
Advertising
Our apps display advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising platform operated by Google LLC. Advertising allows us to offer free versions of our apps to users.
By using our apps, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Advertisements may be displayed within the app at any time during your use
- Google AdMob may use your Google Advertising ID (GAID) and device information to serve personalized ads based on your interests
- Ad content is determined by Google AdMob and we do not control which specific ads are shown
- You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID)
- Clicking on ads may take you to third-party websites or apps — we are not responsible for their content or practices
Google AdMob's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
In-App Purchases
Some features may be available as one-time in-app purchases or recurring subscriptions, processed securely through Google Play. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms and policies.
- Prices are displayed in your local currency as set by Google Play
- All transactions are processed by Google Play — we do not collect or store your payment information
- Some subscriptions may include a free trial period (e.g. 3 days). Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time via your Google Play account settings
- Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy
- Purchasing a premium feature or subscription unlocks that feature for your account as described at the time of purchase

Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality in our apps — including but not limited to code, graphics, logos, icons, and interface design — are owned by Nova Soft Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party trademarks referenced in our apps — including but not limited to Samsung®, LG®, Chromecast® (Google LLC), Roku®, Amazon Fire TV®, Sony®, Philips®, and other device or platform brands — are the property of their respective owners. Nova Soft Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any of these companies or their products.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our apps are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
- Compatibility with any specific device, TV, or firmware version
- Accuracy or completeness of any content or features
- Suitability, accuracy, or quality of any advertisements displayed within the app
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature — including free features supported by advertising — at any time without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nova Soft Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our apps.
This includes but is not limited to damages arising from:
- Inability to connect to or control a device
- Any content, products, or services accessed via advertisements in our apps
- Any issues related to in-app purchases, including unauthorized purchases made on your device
- Data loss or device incompatibility
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or $5 USD if you have not made any purchases).
Third-Party Services
Our apps use or integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — In-app advertising platform
- Google Play — App distribution, billing, and in-app purchases
- Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting and app stability
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Anonymous usage analytics
- Device manufacturer APIs — TV and device communication protocols
We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of any third-party services. Links or references to third-party services do not constitute an endorsement by Nova Soft Labs.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our apps immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your license to use the app is revoked. Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the paid billing period, after which they will not renew. Refunds upon termination for breach of these Terms are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue in effect.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also notify users via an in-app notice.
Your continued use of our apps after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nova Soft Labs operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our apps shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at support@novasoftlabs.com.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in our operating jurisdiction, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws in your region. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
